Voice actors dubbing films and animated characters in professional recording studios

Dubbing & Multilingual Localization

We produce original-content dubbing and multilingual localization, from casting and direction to dialogue editing, mixing and versioned delivery.

Casting and directing character performances

Casting starts with the script, character and original performance. A dubbing director then guides recording so the voice fits the role and the story.

Which dubbing path fits your project?

Choose the corresponding path based on existing materials and target versions. Both types of projects share the same selection, directing, recording, dialogue editing, mixing, and delivery capabilities.

What should be agreed before production?

First, clarify the scope of work, then jointly confirm the price, schedule, and acceptance methods.

What documents are delivered and how are they accepted?

First, confirm the delivery list based on the platform and usage scenario. File parameters, acceptance thresholds, and responsible parties should be based on platform standards and the agreed project files. Do not use examples as a uniform commitment.

Reconcile ItemsSpecific dimension confirmed before launch
Screen & DesktopScreen version, timecode, character list, line range, target language and glossary
Recording and DialogueRole selection, audition confirmation, line adaptation, dialogue editing and audition leader
Mixing & FilesChannel layout, file format, sampling rate, bit depth, loudness, true peak and number of versions
Acceptance and filingSound and picture synchronization, language listening, file naming, version listing, modification records and QC results
How to confirm translation, oral and role performances?

First, verify the meaning, tone, pauses, and lip-sync rhythm using a specified segment, then confirm the role audition and performance direction. After recording, review the synchronization of dialogue, terms, and emotional continuity based on the picture timecode; the audition scope and revision rounds are agreed upon at the project start.

What records should the Technical QC leave?

Before delivery, check the channels, loudness, peaks, audio-video synchronization, and file integrity according to the confirmed technical specifications, and compile the version list and issue records. Specific thresholds vary by platform and version, and should be based on project requirements.

What is included in the quote and how will the change be handled?

Please specify the content size, roles and languages, creative or casting requirements, post-production stages, and version numbers to confirm each item. If rewrites, retakes, changes in casting, or additional versions occur, first clarify the changed content, then assess the fees and schedule impact.

When will the duration be calculated, and can it be accelerated?

The schedule needs to be confirmed based on the availability of materials, scope of work, and resource arrangements. Please prepare scripts or samples, time plans, technical requirements, and acceptance responsible parties in advance, and agree on direction confirmation, stage reviews, and final acceptance nodes. For urgent projects, resource and acceptance time assessments need to be separately evaluated, and no uniform days are promised.

How is the scope of authorization and material management agreed upon?

Please confirm the usage purpose, region, and duration, as well as the personnel for accessing materials, delivery methods, and retention arrangements before project start. The specific scope should be based on the confirmed project files.

Dubbing
FAQs

The content type, language direction, role scale, performance style, listening mechanism, and version scope should be aligned before the project starts.

Original-content dubbing involves establishing the character's voice based on the script and character settings; multilingual localization rebuilds the dialogue and performance in the target language based on an existing language version, including both foreign-to-Chinese and Chinese-to-foreign localization.

Yes, you can. You can hire actors, direct recordings, do dialogue editing, or deliver mixes based on the existing team and production schedule, or you can manage the entire process.

We hold focused auditions based on the character and story, then agree on the cast and performance direction. The dubbing director guides acting, emotion and consistency during recording.

We maintain consistency across episodes, sessions, pickups and language versions with character voice profiles, reference recordings, director notes, terminology lists and version tracking.

Please provide a reviewable cut or sample, a timecoded script, the number of characters and lines, target language, schedule, and review owner. If available, also provide a term list, M&E tracks, and release specifications.

Confirm requirements before production begins. Agree on channel layout, file format, sample rate, bit depth, loudness, peak level, version count, and acceptance owner. Exact values follow the platform and project specifications.
